The Exploited are a seminal Punk Rock group, from the so-called "second wave" of U.K. Punk. Despite seemingly countless line-up changes over the years, the band has managed to maintain, develop, and evolve a highly influential style of punk. Frontman Wattie Buchan has led the many members through over 20 years of constant gigging and recording, creating a worldwide following in the process.
A steady increase in thrashiness can be tracked through the band's history. Each successive album has had a bit more edge than the last. This reflects the drive Wattie & Co. have to keep Punk at the front lines of creative expression in style and substance alike.
