The Jesus Incident is a science fiction novel written by Frank Herbert and Bill Ransom, and was first released in 1979.

In the book, colonists have travelled long distances to an alien planet while in suspended animation. Living both aboard the ship and on the surface, the colonists have to deal with both their own ship and inhospitable creatures on the planet.
