The King of Queens - Definition and Overview

The King of Queens is an American situation comedy series that debuted in 1998 and is still running as of 2005. It is broadcast on CBS and is a spinoff of Everybody Loves Raymond.

The premise of the story is the day-to-day life of married couple Doug and Carrie Heffernan. He is a driver for a parcel delivery service and she is a legal secretary. Her father, Arthur, lives in the basement.
