The Perfect Drug Versions - Definition and Overview

"The Perfect Drug" Versions (also known as halo 11) is an EP by Nine Inch Nails released in 1997. It consists of 5 remixes of the song "The Perfect Drug," which originally appeared on the soundtrack for the David Lynch movie Lost Highway.

Notable remixes were by Reznor himself and Meat Beat Manifesto frontman Jack Dangers, whose remix opens the disc in a very UK jungle style. The DJ-only promotional vinyl copies had an remix by the group Aphrodite which was exclusive to this format and copy. Although the album has a remix by the composer group Nine Inch Nails, it did not have the original version, with the exception of the international disc which included it as the sixth track.
