Philosopher Kings were a Canadian R&B group in the 1990s. The band consisted of vocalist Gerald Eaton, guitarists James McCollum and Brian West, keyboardist Jason Levine and bassist Jonathan Levine.
The band released three albums, and were one of the most commercially successful Canadian pop groups of the late 1990s. Although they have never officially disbanded, the members have concentrated on individual side projects since 2000: McCollum and Jason Levine in the pop band Prozzak, and Eaton as a producer and performer under the stage name Jarvis Church.
