Plot synopsis
Jafar, the villain from the first movie, plans revenge on Aladdin, Jasmine, and the Sultan. As Jafar was transformed into a genie at the end of the first film, he cannot act without the permission of his new "master", the browbeaten thief Abis Mal. Jafar's sidekick, the parrot Iago, betrays Jafar and becomes one of Aladdin's friends. Jafar was ultimately destroyed when his lamp was melted by molten magma. Iago and Abis Mal went on to appear as a hero and villain, respectively, on the Aladdin animated series.
