The Royal Crescent is an exclusive residential estate of 30 houses, laid out in an arc, in the city of Bath in England. It was designed by John Wood the Younger and built between 1767 and 1774. It is amongst the greatest examples of Georgian architecture to be found in the United Kingdom. Most of the 30 houses have now been split into a number of flats.
Number 1 Royal Crescent is a museum which exhibits how wealthy owners of the period may have furnished such a house.
The Royal Crescent Hotel occupies numbers 15 and 16 Royal Crescent.
The Royal Crescent is a popular location for the launching of hot air balloons, which takes place in the summer, typically early morning or late evening.
