The Toy Watches - Definition

The Toy Watches were a new wave band based in Brisbane and Ipswich (Queensland Australia) between 1979 and 1981. The band were extremely popular in the originals 4ZZZ circuit. They released an independent single on the Peanut Republic label.

All band members went on to be part of the Brisbane and for some the Sydney music scene for the next 25 years.

Members Shaun McGrath - Vocals John Spressor - Lead Guitar Ian Davies - Rhythm Guitar Noel Howe - Bass Guitar Cameron Howe - Drums Russell Sky - Bass Guitar (replacing Noel in several later gigs) Single released on vinyl through Peanut Republic Records Hawaii (A side) Too Long (B Side)
