The way it's meant to be played is a program helps game developers to optimize their games and applications especially for NVIDIA's graphics cards and adds a splash screen to the "the way it's meant to be played" games; this is widely considered as a promotion campaign for NVIDIA. This program was launched 2003 by NVIDIA, a graphics card producer.
ATI Technologies, a Canadian graphics card producer, has also launched a program called "get in the game", which serves the same purpose.
