Thesprotia (Greek: Θεσπρωτία) is one of the fifty-one prefectures of Greece. It is within the Epirus periphery. The capital is in Igoumenitsa. It is bounded with Albania to the north, the prefecture of Ioannina to the east and Preveza in the south. It is one of the smallest prefectures in population.

The provinces are small and there are four of them.

Much of the prefecture are mountainous while farmlands most of them with gridded roads and ditches are within the valleys in the central, southern and the western part.

A new highway which began construction in 1996 which links all the way to Thessaloniki and is scheduled to open in mid or late 2004 and 2005. There is a probability of a bridge to Corfu which is currently unplanned and unscheduled. Main roads are GR-19 and GR-6.

Igoumenitsa is the Port of Corfu which serves ferry routes to the islands of Corfu, Antipaxoi, and Paxoi.
