Thomas Cook Airlines - Definition and Overview

Thomas Cook Airlines is a European charter airline of the Thomas Cook Group AG, a German-based leisure company. Through merging of five European charter airlines, a fleet of 86 aircraft makes the airline the largest charter airline in the world.

The Thomas Cook Airlines brand was launched in March 2002 with five Airbus A320 flying from Belgium. From June 2002 the fleets of Condor Flugdienst, Condor Berlin and JMC Air started to appear in the new colours with the switch to the new brand being complete by the start of the summer 2003 season.

The airline operates to around 100 destinations, mostly throughout the Mediterranean as well as USA, Mexico and Caribbean.
