Thomas Scott - Definition and Overview

Thomas Scott was an American representative for Pensylvania in the House of Representatives, during the first and third Congress.


Thomas Scott was also a Scottish-born Canadian and Orangeman who was a member of the Canadian armed forces when they attacked the Red River Settlement in 1870. He was captured by the forces of Louis Riel and was the only prisoner to be executed.
