Thomas Tew - Definition and Overview |

Thomas Tew (aka the Rhode Island Pirate) was a pirate who gained notoriety in the 1690s in the Red Sea. He operated out of Bermuda, Rhode Island and New York, and was involved in the founding of Libertatia.
He died around 1695 in an engagement aboard the Fateh Muhammed.
