Three Imaginary Boys is English rock band The Cure's debut album. It was later re-released in the USA with a slightly different song lineup as Boys Don't Cry.
The Cure were a trio when Three Imaginary Boys was released, and the album is sparse and stripped down, with echoes of a punk edge, yet fresh enough to cause comment, tuneful, mournful and suggestive of what was to come.
