Formed in Irvine, California in 1997, Thrice is a rock band with influences from hardcore and punk rock. The band members knew each other from high school. Receiving only 1.5 stars in the AMG review (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:0vu1z83a3yv6~T1), their first album still captured the attention of Sub City record label as well as a growing fanbase. When signing onto Sub City, the EP was reissued. More albums followed later. Thrice has supported numerous non-profit acts and charities.
