A Village situated approximately seven miles West of the city of Newcastle upon Tyne, in the county of Tyne and Wear. At the centre of Throckley lies a small run-down shopping area, consisting a hair dressers, funeral parlour and fish and chip shop. The fish and chip shop attracts a great deal of customers, most of whom have regard for neither traffic regulations nor human life. On a Friday evening, pedestrians take their lives in their hands by daring to cross at the zebra crossing, as visibility is so badly obscured by the village idiots in their cars.
