Dr. Timothy F. LaHaye is a conservative Christian minister, author, and speaker. He is best-known for the Left Behind series of apocalyptic fiction, which he co-authored along with Jerry Jenkins. He has written over fifty books, both fiction and non-fiction.
LeHaye received a BA from Bob Jones University in 1950. He also holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Western Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Literature from Liberty University. As of 2004, he has been married to activist and fellow author Beverly LaHaye for over fifty years. They have four children and nine grandchildren.
Recently Tyndale House , a publisher, published a book, The Last Disciple, by Hank Hanegraaff . This book disagrees with the theology behind the Left Behind series, and this angered Tim LaHaye very much.
