Tokushima VORTIS (Japanese: 徳島ヴォルティス) is a Japanese professional soccer (football) club, currently playing in the J-league Division 2. The team is located in Tokushima, Tokushima Prefecture.
Founded in 1955 as Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. soccer club, VORTIS joined the J-League in 2005.
Their home stadium is Naruto Athletic Studium (徳島県鳴門総合運動公園陸上競技場), in Naruto, Tokushima.
"VORTIS" united the name, "Vortice" (Italian:whirlpool) , and the coined word which combined the initial of the old name of a country "the Tosa Province" of Kochi Prefecture, the "Iyo Province" of Ehime Prefecture, and the "Sanuki Province" of Kagawa Prefecture in the prefecture of the next door of Tokushima Prefecture.
