Tom Fitzpatrick - Definition and Overview

Tom Fitzpatrick was a senior Irish politician. He was first elected to Dáil Éireann in 1965 as a Fine Gael TD for Cavan. Fitzpatrick served in the Irish Cabinet on several occasions as well as Ceann Comhairle. He was elected at every election until 1989 when he retired from politics.
