In the Jeeves and Wooster stories of P.G. Wodehouse, Tom Travers is the husband of Aunt Dahlia and uncle of Bertie Wooster. Travers, known to Bertie as Uncle Tom, funded his wife's rarely-profitable magazine Milady's Boudoir, which he always called "Madame's Nightshirt", until she sold it.
Uncle Tom suffers from famously bad digestion problems, making him cranky and unlikely to part with his money, much to Aunt Dahlia's chagrin. Only the cooking of his French chef Anatole can allay his indigestion.
