Tommy Dreamer (born Thomas Laughlin in February 1971) is an American professional wrestler. He was formerly associated with World Wrestling Entertainment. He has been credited by the WWE as "Mr. Hardcore".
He debuted in 1992 for the now defunct Extreme Championship Wrestling and was a mainstay there until it closed in 2001. Known as the "Innovator of Violence", he was well-known for bringing foreign objects such as a Kendo Stick to the ring. He was the first wrestler to kick out of Superfly Jimmy Snuka's Superfly Splash.
He is a former ECW World Heavyweight Champion, winning the belt in 2000, but losing the belt 18 minutes later to Justin Credible.
He is a loyal friend of former ECW owner and WWE performer Paul Heyman and followed him to WWE in 2001 where he stayed until 2003.
He is married to his former ring manager Beulah McGillicuty (Teresa Hayes).
