The Strix award is an annual award, presented since 1998 in memory of Dr Tony Kent, a past Fellow of the Information Scientists, who died in 1997. The award is presented by UKeIG, a UK based professional body for users and developers of electronic information resources.

The award is given for outstanding contributions to the field of information retrieval.
