Torakusu Yamaha (山葉寅楠; Yamaha Torakusu, April 20, 1851 – August 8, 1916) was the founder of the Yamaha Corporation.
Yamaha was a watchmaker to who built his first reed organ in 1887. Ten years later, he became the president of Nippon Gakki Co. (later renamed the Yamaha Corporation).
