Toyota Previa - Definition and Overview

The Toyota Previa was a minivan sold from 1991 through 1997, when it was replaced by the Sienna. It was an odd mid-engined rear wheel drive vehicle, replacing the simply-named Van. The Previa was criticized for its rounded "one-box" styling and low-output 2.4 L I4 engine, which was located under the driver's seat.

The Previa was on Car and Driver's Ten Best list for 1991.
