Traducianism - Definition and Overview

In Christian theology, traducianism is the belief that each individual human soul is created at the time of conception and derived from the souls of the individual's parents. This implies that only the souls of Adam and Eve were created directly by God, in contrast with creation theology, which holds that all souls were so created.
