Trisha - Definition and Overview

Trisha is a British chat show currently aired on ITV in the mornings.

It started in 1998 and traditionally features people and their numerous affairs or problems.

The show is presented by Trisha Goddard, with views from a studio audience. The show is well known for its conducting of Lie detector tests and DNA tests and revealing the results on air. Robert Phipps, a body language expert, frequently guests on the show. It has frequently been accused of copying American formats, and of exploiting its subjects.

In 2005 Trisha Goddard will be leaving the popular morning show to join Channel 5 although the talk show is expected to be continued by a different presenter.
