Jonathan King launched his own record label UK Records to distribute his own releases and some other artists in 1972. The abbreviation UK stands for "United King". Besides himself UK also released records by Terry Dactyl, Roy C, Lobo and 10CC. King got bored and closed the label, but retained ownership and regularly re-issued its catalogue. See also |
