USS Bunker Hill - Definition and Overview

Two ships of the United States Navy have been named USS Bunker Hill, in remembrance of the Battle of Bunker Hill during the American Revolutionary War.

The first Bunker Hill (CV-17) was an aircraft carrier that fought heavily in the Pacific during World War II.

The second Bunker Hill (CG-52) is a guided missile cruiser commissioned in 1986 and on active service as of 2004.
