In the fictional Star Trek universe, the USS Intrepid is a Constitution class United Federation of Planets starship. Staffed by all Vulcans the Intrepid was destroyed in 2268 by humongous space-faring amoeba near the Gamma 7A System. The only other mention of the Intrepid came when the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) was docked with it in maintenance section 18 of Starbase 11. The first mention of the USS Intrepid came in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode Court Martial.
