UXGA - Definition and Overview

UXGA is an abbreviation for Ultra eXtended Graphics Array referring to a standard monitor resolution of 1600 × 1200 pixels. Dell Computer refers to the same resolution of 1,920,000 pixels as UGA. It is generally considered to be the next step above SXGA (1280 × 1024), but some less commonly-used resolutions (such as SXGA+ 1400 × 1050) fit in between the two.
