Uitgeest - Definition and Overview

Uitgeest (population: 11,783 in 2004) is a town in the north-western Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. The municipality covers an area of 22.31 km² (of which 3.13 km² water).

The municipality of Uitgeest also includes the following towns, villages and townships: Assum, Busch en Dam, Groot Dorregeest.
