The UnReal World (URW) is a realistic graphical roguelike crpg set in Iron age Finland. It is made by Sami Maaranen.
URW doesn't have any character classes and has tribes instead of race. URW doesn't have a plot so players can do what they please. They can hunt, explore caves, go fishing, build their own house in a village or even get married—it's really all up to the player. There are no other fantasy elements in URW except gods and magic.
You start out creating a character by choosing his name and tribe.
Your character can use up to 25 skills:
- Physician
- Cookery
- Ritual
- Survival
- Timbercraft
- Fishing
- Weatherlore
- Foraging
- Hideworking
- Tracking
- Woodcarving
- Dodge
- Sword
- Shield
- Dagger
- Club
- Flail
- Bow
- Crossbow
- Unarmed
The latest version of URW (2.80) was published 05-24-2004.
