Unite Against Fascism is a national campaign in the United Kingdom which aims to alert British society to the rising threat of the extreme right gaining an electoral foothold in the United Kingdom, in particular the British National Party (BNP). Chaired by London Mayor Ken Livingstone, vice-chair Weyman Bennett. The group was formed as part of a coalition between the anti Nazi league and the national assembly against racism as a response to the rise of the BNP. Britains other major anti-racist group, Searchlight, did not affiliate.
