University of Colorado at Colorado Springs - Definition and Overview

The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs is part of the University of Colorado system. It has approximately 5,500 undergraduate students and approximately 1900 graduate students. It was established as an extension campus in the 1920s and eventually moved into its current campus in 1965. In the late 1990s, the campus began expanding and dormitories were added.
