The University of Exeter is the principal University in the English city of Exeter, in Devon. The University received its Royal Charter in 1955 and is today based on two Exeter campuses: Streatham Estate and St Luke's. The University also maintains a third campus in Tremough, Cornwall, near Falmouth in conjunction with the Falmouth College of Arts (FCA) - the University of Exeter in Cornwall - under the Combined Universities in Cornwall (CUC) initiative. The Camborne School of Mines has relocated to the Tremough campus. Many students are accommodated in Halls of Residence. Note that the University of Exeter is not the only university in Exeter - the University of Plymouth also maintains a campus, near to the Topsham Road, Exeter.
