University of Hartford is a private four-year university in suburban West Hartford, Connecticut. It was founded in 1877. Most noted for Art and Music. The University also has a small detached campus for women. Athletically, the university plays in the America East Conference. The predominant sport at the University is Basketball, the Hartford Hawks.
