The University of Michigan-Dearborn, located in Dearborn, Michigan is part of the University of Michigan system. It was established in 1959 after a gift of 196 acres from the Ford Motor Company. On the campus there is approximately 70 acres of nature preserve. The campus also houses the Henry Ford Estate.
