Legend of the Overfiend (Japanese: "Chôjin densetsu Urotsukidôji" 超神伝説うろつき童子) is a Japanese hentai film that features a creature (the Overfiend) that must come to Earth and conceive a child to stop the Man, Beast, and Demon universes from merging. This film is famous as the origin of the tentacle rape theme. The film was controversial and was banned or edited severely in many countries. Is known to have brought anime as an actually recognized form of entertainment in the UK along with numerous other anime of its time (1987). It was banned in Australia, and possibly New Zealand as well as being edited in the US, UK, and numerous other western countries. It was one of the first ultra-violent hentais.
