V2 - Definition and Overview

The term V2 can refer to:

• The V-2 rocket, an early ballistic missile used by Germany during World War II
• The speed where an aircraft accelerating on the runway must do the lift-off. Aboting take-off is not possible at speeds beyond V1.
• Visual area V2, an area in the brain's occipital lobe
• A V engine with two cyliners, see V-twin.
• The verb-second word order, used primarily in Germanic languages
