VW Touran - Definition and Overview

The Volkswagen Touran is a mini-MPV class automobile based on a vertically stretched 5th generation VW Golf and sold in Europe. It was launched in 2003.

It fills a percived gap in Volkswagen's model line-up below its larger sister MPV the VW Sharan.
