Vanaheim Vanaheim

Vanaheim - Definition and Overview

In Norse mythology Vanaheim is the home of the Vanir. The Vanir were generally more benevolent gods of agriculture and nature, as opposed to the Aesir, who were warlike and passionate. The Vanir briefly warred with the Aesir, but quickly made peace. Freyr is a Vanir, as are Freya and Njord.
