Vanessa Chantal Paradis (born December 22 1972) is a French singer and actress. She was discovered on the TV show L'Ecole Des Fans. Vanessa recorded her first single "La Magie Des Surprises-Parties" (the magic of surprise parties) in 1985 and became famous with the song "Joe le Taxi" in 1987. She is in a relationship with American actor Johnny Depp with whom she has a daughter, Lily Rose Melody (born May 27, 1999), and a son, Jack (born April 9, 2002). External links
