Veritech fighter - Definition

A fictional transforming walking machine in Robotech. In the late 90s, a backronym was invented for the term "Veritech:" Variable Engineering and Robotic Integration TECHnology.

The nomenclature for Veritech Fighters mostly follows that established in the 20th century by the US Army Air Force and its successor service, the US Air Force. "V" is added to the beginning of the fighter's designation to stand for "Variable" or "Veritech."
