Victor Bennet is a fictional character in the television series "Charmed. He is the father of Prudence, Piper, and Phoebe Halliwell.
When he married his wife, Patty, he wasn't aware that she was a witch, and had trouble coping with the idea that his children were also witches, and that their lives would often be in danger. His marriage to Patty eventually broke up. After Patty died, he returned to help raise the girls, but wanted them to have what he considered a "normal" life. Since he, as a mortal, couldn't provide that, he left again.
