The Virtual Commonwealth of Cyberia is the oldest anglophone micronation. Cyberia is a democratic republic with a continuous constitutional history since 1997. Cyberia is building its own wiki which is planned to evolve into a general micronational encyclopedia. The Cyberian Broadcasting Cooperative blogs events in Cyberia and other micronations.
Government
Cyberia is a federal republic with president as head of state and government.
A unicameral National Assembly makes laws. The number of Deputies is one third of the number of eligible electors. All elections are proportional representation through the Single Transferable Vote.
General elections are the first Saturdays in January, April, July and October. The president is elected in April and October.
The judiciary is centered around a three-member Supreme Court and a network of temporary justices. All justices are appointed by the president, subject to legislative confirmation and annual retention elections.
