Volozhin - Definition

Valozhyn (Belarusian: Вало́жын; Russian: Воло́жин) is a town in the Minsk voblast of Belarus, 75 km northwest of Minsk. The population is 11,500 (1995).

Valozhyn is the site of the famous Volozhin yeshiva.
