Vouliagmeni (Greek: Βουλιαγμένη) is a municipality 20 km south of Athens. Its population is about 4,000. It sits in the southwestern part of the Hymettus mountain range. Its exact location is around 38.8° or 38°48′ N and around 23.83° or 23°50′ E. The western half is covered with pine trees, and beautiful blue beaches, and a small peninsula featuring Cape Lomvardi (Akrotiris Lomvardi). The peninsula also features a hotel, a small harbor of Vouliagmenis, rocky shores, and a small park. Rocky landscape covers the eastern part. Houses and buildings are lined in the middle.
Vouliagmeni has schools, a lyceum, a gymnasium, banks, a post office and squares (plateies).
The town hall is located in the middle. Its main street is Athinas Avenue. Almost all street names are named after Greek myths.
The triathlon of the 2004 Summer Olympics took place in this area.
