WLS-TV - Definition and Overview

WLS-TV is an ABC-owned Chicago television station. It transmits on analog channel 7, and broadcasts local news, entertainment and public affairs programming, as well as syndicated programs and the broadcasts of the ABC television network. The Oprah Winfrey show was originally created by WLS-TV, and the film review program Ebert & Roeper is currently produced at its facilities.
