Waalre is a municipality and a town in the southern Netherlands.

Aalst

Aalst is a small town near Eindhoven (6km). Prior to World War II, it merged with the municipality of Waalre to form Aalst-Waalre.

Aalst is also the name of a town in Belgium, see Aalst. To keep unique names throughout the Benelux, Aalst in the Netherlands uses the name of Waalre for most official purposes, including postal addresses and digital maps.
