Walsall Football Club are an English football club which will play the 2004/05 season in Football League One, having been relegated from the First Division at the end of the 2003/2004 season. They were formed in 1888 when Walsall Town and Walsall Swifts amalgamated. They currently play at Bescot Stadium and are managed by player manager Paul Merson.
